Sorts of paper

By showing some examples on the following pages, the collector of photographs should be able to learn a bit about the most common photographic papers that were in use in germany. But I also want to pronounce, that many papers had no maker's mark at all.

Leonar

The firm of  Leonar was located at Hamburg-Wandsbek, Wandsbeker Zollstraße and produced various photographic papers.

In 1964 there was a fusion with the firm of  Agfa-Gevaert GmbH.

Before 1945 however, Leonar-papers were amongst the most used papers in germany.
